Duck Does Phantom

On my 18th birthday, my parents took me to watch Starlight Express at The Apollo Theatre, in the West End. Amazing!

While Starlight has to be my favourite Webber musical, I think that one of the most striking characters has to be The Phantom of the Opera.

Until very recently, I actually had no idea about the plot of Phantom.

I’m an avid Terry Pratchett Discworld reader and have been collecting the series since I was at university. One of my latest additions is a second-hand copy of Maskerade.

Unbeknown to me at the time, this book is based on the story of the phantom. In this case, a character called Walter Plinge.

I wanted to create a monochrome Duck Does and felt that the phantom would make the ideal muse.
