These abstract doodles are built from physical words that I doodled on a page. You’ll find the starter word underneath each picture. If you look hard enough, you can make out the words ‘behind’ the works. I wonder if you can see the emotions and moments that I spotted in each of them?
I chose this next doodle as my avatar on Redbubble.
While I liked the ambiguity of the original version of this work (the large one below), I also wanted to experiment with the two contrasting interpretations.
This next one is probably the most abstract of the collection. I don’t think that it’s any coincidence that I was reading Sherlock Holmes at the time …
This final piece seemed very fitting for the starter word …
“Well, – heh – you see, we don’t explain art. I mean, that’s just sort of something you feel. Well, you see, you look at a picture or a piece of sculpture and it either does something for you or it doesn’t. Y’know?”
